A-rank Mission: Retrieve the Missing Scroll! (L and Rain only)

Kumori departed from the gates of Konoha on a very important mission. He had been sent to retrieve a secret scroll that was rumored to have been taken by the Akatsuki. Kumori had been sent to Moon country to retrieve it. Kumori traveled quickly and was scheduled to get there in a day. He traveled through the forest of Fire country with ease. By the evening of the first day he had made it to the border of Moon country. Kumori decided to camp out by a river. The next morning Kumori woke early and traveled to a nearby city. There he went into a pub and started interrogating people. No one seemed to know of the location of the base. Kumori the consulted the local nin and eventually had to capture one of them. He took the nin into the forest and questioned him. the nin would not give in until Kumori grew a bone out of his elbow and threatened to kill the man. The nin quickly gave in and told Kumori the location of the base. He quickly traveled to the base and hid approximately 10 kilometers away. The base seemed to be quite. Kumori set up a surveillance of the base. It was noon and he had seen one member for only a split second. Kumori then decided to take a day and just watch the activity of the organization. There was a perfect opportunity at about seven o' clock pm. Kumori did not take it though, for he knew that they would expect it. The next day Kumori woke at six o' clock and decided that it was time to strike. Kumori then ran towards the entrance. As he darted for the entrance he took shelter behind every other tree, making sure that he would not be detected.There was a small clearing that he had to sneak around, but he made it. Kumori could see the entrance to the base ahead. When he reached it he started looking for traps and a way inside. There were no obvious traps and the entrance appeared safe. Kumori opened the door to the hide out.

As Kumori opened the door, he was greeted by an unfriendly host. Walking towards him in a slow and steady pace was Rain. Her long black hair shined in the light of the corridor candles and her metallic blue eyes reflected what she saw. She had been on her way to meet Aimi at the entrance when she spotted and unfamiliar face and the symbol of an enemy; Konoha.

She had just recently stole a scroll from that particular village and had placed it safely on her own desk deep within the base. It seemed that she had been noticed and followed by this single shinobi. As she approached him, Rain made several hand signs only with her right hand and then brought it up to her lips. As she blew a kiss towards her intruder, Rain blew an undetectable gas towards him.

When Kumori opened the door he found that there was a beautiful kunoichi standing in his way. He said "Why do all of the beautiful ones have to be evil..." After he said that she made hand signs and blew him a kiss. Kumori quickly thought to himself, 'she formed hand seals and blew a kiss... did he release a gas? I don't smell anything though... Better be safe..' "Fuuton: Kaze no Yaiba." A great wind suddenly came out of nowhere and started to form. at first it started in between them and then it started to move towards the opponent. If there was any evident gas present it would be scattered everywhere by now and the strength of the wind started to push Kumori back and he was eventually was back outside. Kumori did not wait for the jutsu to connect as he launched another jutsu. "Hyacinth Dance: Bud!" Kumori held his palm out as a hole was created in it. It started bleeding and Kumori shot a bone harpoon out of it. The harpoon raced through the air and towards the cycle of wind blades. Kumori went ahead and activated another jutsu. Kumori stood there and said "Thor's cry." He immediately started channeling lightning chakra throughout his body and gained incredible speed. Kumori then waited for a bit. After the effects settled in, He made sure that it would be a task for anyone who would try to enter by using another jutsu. "Bracken Dance!" Suddenly a huge forest of bones shot from the ground. The forest stretched from the entrance to the edge of the forest. He started to dart in and out of each bone with great speed. He then waited to see if any of his attacks connected. He knew it would be very hard for the opponent to attack even if all of his attacks missed.

As she stood there, she looked almost sad. As she watched the gust race towards her, she formed her next set of hand signs. Her skin turned black leaving on the blue of her eyes to glow and the red clouds of her cloak to be visible. As the wind slammed into her, she did not even move. Rain stood unfazed by the wind and even the spear as it shattered into many pieces as it struck her. Rain's defense was something that noone had ever overcome. Even diamonds are not as strong as her skin was now. By applying her carbon techniques into her body, she was able to take on the density of carbon nanotubes.

As the wall shot up in front of her, Rain seemed to ignore it while walking slowly up to it. At that moment, Rain disappeared and reappeared next to Genkaku and landed gracefully as if walking down a single step. With the voice of an angel, Rain continued to peer down in Kumori's direction but spoke to her comrade. "My hands are already stained with the blood of many... one more coat will not change their color..."

Rain had seen this bone forest before when she had studied the abilities of the Kaguya Clan. As a result, she had created her own version that was far more deadly and stronger. Allowing her fragile hands to rise up to her chest, Rain ran her fingers through one another as she formed her own strange hand signs. When at last she had completed, the ground below them began to shake and then stopped.

"Kurokongouseki , Kuromori no Jutsu"

Just like the forest that Kumori had created, a forest shot out of the ground. Unlike Kumori's white forest of bone, Rain's forest shined in the light as it's smooth black surface of diamond rose form the water. The remaining bone pillars split and shattered as black diamond pillars split them through their centers. Rain did not care who killed this intruder, but she did want him dead. His body would help her finish her research on the bone jutsu of the Kaguya Clan.

(OOC: Ok, it has been more than a week and L has been on during that time and did not post in this fight at all. As a result, I am going to hit him. I personally think there should be a time limit as to how long someone can go without posting when they are seen on the site but not posting. I gave him a week and he did not post, so I will be hitting him. I am leaving it so that he can still say he is alive but I find it unfair that i am not allowed to do any in-character rping since he decided not to post. I should not have to suffer for his mistakes.)

Rain peered down into the bowl and stood without movement for several seconds. When at last she saw movement, the ripples on the water let her know of her enemies position. Quickly getting ready for another jutsu, Rain clasped her hands together and began her seals. When completed, Rain knelt down and placed on hand on the ground.

From below the water, 15 strands of carbon steel shot up at Kumori. All at once, every strand burst out of the water and pierced Kumori's skin and exited out the other side. Kumori now looked like a human puppet as a thread had shot through each of his wrists, elbows, shoulders, knees, ankles, hips and three through his chest. Each thread had pierced into his skin, exited through the other side, and then shot back down into the earth, leaving a loop connected to each joint. Because Kumori was using his chakra to keep himself on top of the water, the constant strain of the threads tightening kept him immobilized as they threatened to drag him down into the water. If Kumori had any chance of surviving, he would have to act fast and somehow remove the strong steel from his body...
