Goal: The goal of the Immortals are to capture the Bijuu's and combine the power of the Bijuu's with the ancient powers that they have already have to gain immortality and recreate the world in their image.
The sign of the Immortals: The seven individual seals of the Immortals (Each one of these are given to a member based on their ranking in the organization):
Leader: Sahastrara
Second in command: Ajna
Third: Vishudda
Fourth: Anahata
Fifth: Manipur
Sixth: Hara
Seventh: Muladhara
Ancient Power of the Immortals:Ring of Ogham: Information: The Ring of Ogham is the first phase of the Immortals power. This ring is the center of all channeling of the ancient runic power of Anglo-Saxon futhorc, who was a monk who had once gained immortality. This ring allows further spells and runes to be used to greater increase the strength of anyone who has studied the power of Anglo-Saxon Ogam Futhark.
Fionn's Wheel:Fionn's Wheel is a complete runic inscription that creates the eternal link between the user of Anglo-Saxon futhorc and increase its effects substantially. The wheel complies of various runes that as long as the wheel exists somewhere with the users names written inside of it then they are able to access the runic power.
Hagal's Eight:Hagal's Eight (or the Eight Letters of Hagal) are runic symbols. While the Ogam writing system was developed by the Celts, the runes are derived from the Norse languages. Believed to be a gift from Odin himself, runes were believed to be powerful magical symbols. Anglo Futhark found these runes during his lifetime and mastered them. The runes are divided into three groupings of eight:
Freya's Eight, Hagal's Eight, and Tyr's Eight deal with the forces of nature; the first four runes (the left grouping) deal with disruptive natural forces and the last four runes (the right grouping) represent protective spiritual forces. Freya's Eight and Tyr's Eight are further runic symbols that focus such powers as Hagal's Eight do. The Immortal use these runes to link themselves with the power of the earth and use its spiritual powers to gain immortality.
Hagalaz: The middle runic symbol that makes the final link between all of the Ogham runic forces. By placing it in the center of a finished circle and then on the users body allows them to bring forth the ring when they utter the words of activation Beith-Luis-Nion. Once these words are spoken by the user the ring will appear (the ring must be created by the user before hand anywhere and still exist).
Ogam: Ogam is the written language of the Ancient Celts; it was used for a variety of reasons, including spell casting. Ogam is usually written in straight liines, either vertical or horizontal. The Fionn's Wheel uses all of the 25 Ogam symbols within it, which are arranged around a series of concentric circles. This as used in "Pathworking", a powerful magical technique.
Immortal Badges: These badges are what bare the symbols and ranks of the Immortals. Each badge has a runic symbol on the back that does two things. The first thing is that it allows all Immortal members to contact each other through the means of the runic sign. This allows Dante to tell just exactly where all the Immortals are and allows them to contact each other easily.
The second effect that the seal on the back of this badge is the symbol of Hagalaz. This symbol allows any Immortal member to bring forth one or all of the ring of Oghams. Dante however, knowing more about the ancient power of Ogham then anyone else can use this rune to bind an Immortal member. This is used to keep the Immortals in check due to the fact that they could lash out or go into action without orders from Dante. This completely paralyzes the Immortal member and allows Dante to bring them back to the Immortal base just as a Ring of Ogham would be summoned. This helps with not just the keeping in line of his subordinates, but also it proves useful in the transportation of Jinchuurikis, or bringing a Immortal member back to the base when they are in over their head. Dante can also reverse this pathway and bring himself to where the Immortal member is.
