Lake sighed softly. Little waves drifted over her bare feet, drifting in across the pond. There was no breeze, no sound but the water lapping at her feet. She'd sent off a scroll to the Genin she was supposed to train. The Hokage had told her that he was Bijuu and to be careful training such a powerful child. Taking a slow breath, she thought, A new challenge, a new day. Such is the rule of life.
Kicking at a stone, she left the pond and walked back to the tree where her satchel hung from a low branch. She opened it and took out a roll of bandages. Sitting down at the base of the tree, she wound it around her lower legs and her feet. She didn't want the issues with her bones to affect the training. Then she slipped on a pair of tight-fitting long pants to hide the bandages and stood again.
He should be here soon, she thought. Its almost time.
