Wanderer vs Chunnin (Chronos and Aillen, private)

The forest was silent as Lake stepped out into the small clearing, the breeze brushing back the loose strands of hair that hung from the two buns. Her anklet jingled a little as she walked, alerting whoever was nearby of her presence. She was looking for a fight, a good one. Her anger was starting to overflow from the argument she'd had with her mother only minutes earlier.

Stepping into the fading moonlight, she glanced up at the bright orb that hung in the sky. She sighed a little and her eyes scanned the shadows of the trees, looking for anyone who would come and challenge her. Cracking her knuckles, she slipped her shoes off and threw them under a nearby tree. She hoped that she probably wouldn't need them for this battle, those stupid things that she was forced to wear on her feet.

"Come on out!" she called to the trees around her. "Come out, come out wherever you are!"

As the Moon hung high, lingering in the sky as if controlled by an unseen force, the rays adding light to a the low meadow. No one seemed to be in the present are at the time besides a young lady, that is until a giant bird shaped figure crossed over the area, then it stopped on one of the many trees that the lady had been yelling into, the tree shook as the figure landed in it's masses still unseen. Leaves fell to the ground as a body fell out of the tree and onto the ground. A male with black hair and grey streaks running infront of his face, two grey angelic wings folded up in back of him as he walked.

"Why of all days is there no place to wander except ones mind as a wanderer" As he sat there that question repeatedly bounced off of the walls inside his mind, thus sending him into a flurry of wonders. . .

The man stood up fo a second, allowing his wings to spread to a great length, longer than the arms of the man. He pulled back his cloak revealing two sheaths placed on his belt strap, he moved thos and slid them over his shoulder, allowing him to sat lean back with ease. His wings folded together again, then he leaned back against the tree trunk, awaiting something interesting to happen.

"No need for me to come out, Im already here" Saruno says as he gives a short chuckle as he observes the lady infront of him

Lake snorted softly as he landed behind her. She turned to see a man who was several years older than her standing there, his hair black with startling gray streaks that ran though it. He was leaning against a tree, his wings folded behind him. Her eyes narrowed slightly. Probably a wanderer, she thought.

"So, you're up for a fight then?" she asked quietly. Not even waiting for an answer, she focused her chakra down into her legs, spinning on the ball of her right foot to start her circle. The wind she created kicked up a lot of dust and leaves from the ground around her, giving her a large area to work with as the dust spread to cover the entire clearing. Before it could settle, she continued to run in the circle, feeling the ice chakra being sucked out of her legs and into the air. Slowly, the leaves started to freeze and the dust became brown ice particles.

She suddenly stopped and dropped into a crouch as she waited for the new snow she'd created to settle. This should give me an advantage on this kind of field, she thought. I just hope he doesn't use Taijutsu or Ice ninjutsu.

Description: If Lake takes off her shoes, she can run at much higher speeds than with them on. By running in a circle, she can kick up a little tornado of dirt and sand from the ground. Using this as a way to hide herself, she can either flee or attack an opponent from within the cloud.

Description: Lake can run quickly in circles, kicking up dust, leaves, ect to make a cloud around her. The basic idea is the same as Gakabu Arashi (another technique of Lake's), but by focusing her ice chakra into her legs, Lake can freeze the area around her. Everything her bare feet touch, freezes upon contacts, such as the dust around her. If she does this for long enough, the ground starts to freeze. Special Note: Lake must be barefoot to use this.
